Ellen Stofan, Former NASA Chief Scientist, to Head National Air and Space Museum

Ellen Stofan was 8 years old when Apollo 11 landed astronauts on the moon. Now almost 50 years later, she has been chosen to lead the Smithsonian museum entrusted with that mission's artifacts, filling a role first held by a member of the Apollo 11 crew.
